This is just a brief page of how EAST CORNWALL SKITTLES came along. According to the records which the President has shown me the very first meeting was held in JUNE 1981 the then Chairman now President was Gerry Edwards (Liskeard) the Secretary was John Peters (Bodmin) & Treasurer was Sally Bradner (St Neot) the general committee were Doug Bradner (Sally's husband) Brian Chegwyn (then Landlord of the London Inn, St Neot ) where skittles are still played, Eddie Rogers ( then of the Carlton Suite) Joan (then manageress of the White Hart Inn,Bodmin) Kevin Hutchings & Charlie Rawlings (Liskeard) |
